Why the club exists
His story
His hot yoga classes have become must-attend experiences, drawing his following from the Valley to Hollywood. He incorporates 20 years of athletic experience from track and field, basketball, and tennis into a teaching style unlike any other. His exuberant energy, eclectic playlists, and motivational attitude have helped him build trust with his community. You can catch his classes at Hot 8 Yoga studios in Sherman Oaks, Woodland Hills, and Hollywood, where he teaches Power, Sculpt, and Strength.
He credits San Jose and the Bay Area with reigniting his artistic passions when he relocated there in 2016 to work for the San Jose Sharks. He designed artwork for the San Jose Sharks’ Juneteenth celebration in 2020 and the Sharks’ Black History Night jersey in 2021—the first Black History Month jersey design in NHL history. In 2022, Complex featured his GOAT Series highlighting the 50th anniversary of Title IX.
In February 2025, he completed his first live painting in an arena for the Ontario Reign’s Black Heritage Night, with proceeds from the painting donated to the Reign Foundation. He uses his art to capture the beauty of the people in his world, champion their stories, and make them feel seen, valued, and worthy of being art.
“I don’t just teach yoga, I transform minds and bodies with very thought out sequences and flows, and intentionally curated playlists to drive the best results and create unforgettable experiences.”
